We are planning a wedding and need a music selection that appeals to people of all ages. Is the band suitable?
No problem. Our music ranges from the 50's right through to the present day (see our setlist). We play all `dancey' music so best not to expect too many slow ballads from this band! We do not class ourselves as a full `function band' and do not generally take requests like a disco - what you see is what you get but our track record proves that we bring a lively set to any party, wedding reception, festival or function. If you have any doubts then we always suggest that you come and see the band play live before booking us.
What kinds of events do you do?
Pub gigs, parties, Wedding receptions, festivals, fund raiser parties, Corporate functions, even (on the odd occasion) wakes....
What kind of equipment do you provide? Do we have to provide anything else?
We use top equipment and each musician has invested considerable sums into buying top quality instruments and accessories to ensure we have a class sound. All you need to provide is somewhere to play (ideally covered, dry & warm!), some electricity and we will do the rest!
Will the band require feeding if playing at our wedding or function?
Many weddings or similiar functions require the band to set up the equipment in advance and then be clear of the room until later in the evening. This often means that the band could be at the function for anywhere up to 10 hours at a time... and they do get hungry! Ideally, please provide either some food or allow the band access to the buffet where possible... afterall, they need to keep their energy up to provide you with a great night!
